Graduates of this course are working in the industry here in NZ and internationally at festivals, at venues, with production companies and in different performing arts and events areas.

Experience autonomous ownership as you study as well as responsibilities across process; teams; budgets; schedules; and crew.

Gain technical knowledge of equipment, systems and construction methods.

Gain skills in collaboration and perspective and work and study closely with other students in acting, costume, design and technical production.

Toi Whakaari management graduates are collaborative leaders who bring a practical and experiential knowledge of realisation within a goal-focused multi-disciplinary performing arts environment. The three-year Bachelor of Performing Arts (Management) was instituted in 2004 and was the first of its kind in New Zealand.
