The Wellington Theatre Awards 2024 which took place at The Opera House was a wonderful and joyous celebration of the incredible rigour and skill within our industry.

We also acknowledge the Toi Whakaari alumni who worked on the winning and nominated productions, The Tīwhas: A Matariki Spectacular, Gravity & Grace, The Savage Coloniser Show, Belle - A Performance of Air and Dawn Raids.
Special shoutout to our very own Alex Fisher who was nominated for Lighting Designer of the Year, our acting students who were a part of the Dawn Raids ensemble, nominated for the Excellence Award for Ensemble, the Pacific Underground aiga, and Te Hāmama Hohua who hosted the stunning event alongside Te Tīwhas.
